Hi Ashleigh, I totally get your situation, as I have bought exactly the same setup and have had similar issues. Firstly, recheck you have the XLC the correct way round. Secondly, with my problem one track failed to switch because a solenoid underneath the track was not functioning. If you feel this is the issue you might just need to fit the metal bar back into the coiled winding! Have you discovered the Magic Pro App it is worth exploring. I found it much more user friendly, but this whole system is a far cry from plug and play. I have found the cars are too fast so for novices (which I am), the App will allow you to wind down the max power...this is a must do. It also allows you to set the ID of each car (individually). Hi, another Newbie here. Just getting back into Scalextric's with my grandkids! Arc Pro. Got a question about magnets, Porsche C119 is a classic car without magnet, but I have seen a retro fitted bracket that screws to the chassis and holds a magnet? Can anyone tell me where I could purchase the bracket/fitting? Many thanks John
