Hello - I'm new to this. I'm interested in knowing more about the very early period models. So far the only Hornby model I can find in Era 1 is the 'Rocket' (I've already pre-ordered that) are there others? How about rolling stock? There seem to be a few more in Era 2, but again not much rolling stock. A search on the Hornby website doesn't list by Era. Is there perhaps an historically based list somewhere that I've missed? Thanks. PS As you might be aware, Heath Robinson wrote and illustrated a book called 'Railway Ribaldry' published in 1935 - full of ingenious but mostly fuitile lash-ups and bodges, with much knotted string and wobbly pulley wheels. My grandfater gave me a copy around 1956 and I've been quietly chuckling about it ever since!
