  1. Lucky for me there are plenty of metal and resin 1/76 kits being released. So if Airfix don’t make any more new 1/76 kits I will just spend my money on other producers. My opinion is that the 1/72 market is flooded and no point in adding to it. 1/76 may not be the scale of choice for the majority of modellers, but it is for the majority of ww2 war gamers. Who I may add buy more than one of each kit.
  2. Looking great way better than my attempts at that age. I can remember the melted plastic and blobs of glue. Really like the mud. Look forward to the next photos.
  3. 1/76th scale is not dead. Just start making metal kits. It would be a shame if Airfix give up on 1/76th as 1/72nd is more expensive and a saturated market. When U.K. leaves the EU 1/72nd kits will probably increase in price and become too expensive for kids who are the future of the hobby.
  4. A firm favourite of mine and such a pleasure to build. Sands Models do a conversion kit to create the Cromwell ARV. I would post a picture, but sadly will not allow.

In fact a better idea is to produce a set of four tanks in one box for 1/76. A set called ‘Desert Warriors’ which includes an Italian Carro Armato M14/41, a German Panzer III J with short 50mm gun. a British Crusader and an American M4A1. In 1/76th they all would be very popular with 20mm wargamers. I suggest 1/76th as the 1/72nd market is pretty much flooded. Revell seem to be doing really well with 1/76th a small indicated in the best seller list.
  6. Making miniature kits is a great way of relaxing. I do a lot of metal and resin in 1/76th. Don’t mind spending hours at my modelling desk.

Something in 1/76th scale. I suggest a Sherman M4A3 or a Sdkfz 251D. Wargames would buy loads.
