  1. I am happy to report that TFOCH assembled these pylons for me and did a great job. No money changed hands but I have suitably compensated TFOCH for his kindness in another way. Now to find a suitably coloured spray paint for them.
  2. I have now worked out how to report myself :) and have sent my email address.
  3. Thanks all for your reply's to my thread. I would greatly appreciate taking up TFOCH's offer to assist and of course would compensate him. Please let me know how to make direct contact. Steve.
  4. @ TFOCH Hi, I have really struggled to work out how to reply to you? Yes indeed I would absolutely love your help please. I just had to post a new discussion because of not being able to reply directly to you.
  5. I was so excited to find these pylons after seeing them on an online layout. I ordered them and was massively disappointed to receive a kitset of tiny plastic parts? With my eyesight I have no chance of assembling them. I should have known the kit would be self build but it just did not occur to me at the time. Does anybody know of any shop or person who could build these for me. Happy to pay, otherwise I am stuck with a box of bits. Cheers Steve
  6. Hi to All, New to the forum's although been watching and reading for several years. Was an avid railway modeller for most of my younger years (over 30 years ago). Finally at age 57 I can afford to indulge myself and build another layout for fun. Also love DIY and Airguns. So, let's get to it then. I had built myself a 6x4 layout on a sheet of 16mm mdf but I got bored with the simple double oval so have removed everything and started over. I am ok with a double oval but wanted a bit more in the way of sidings and curves instead of just straight sidings. I really like Track Plan 2E so have started on that but covid-19 has put a stop to purchasing the extra track that I need for now. What I really need help with is identifying all the track needed, especially whether the diamond crossing is LH or RH and the standard curves in the sidings, are they 1st or 2nd radius. Does anyone know if there is a comprehensive list of track needed for this layout. Another thing that I cannot figure out is why the clear canopy from my town station that goes over two tracks no longer fits, it is now too wide? my tracks seem to be at the correct distance apart so not sure what have I done wrong. Need to sort it as the platforms look bare otherwise. I have purchased most of my rolling stock and loco's from Ebay UK and had it posted over, so far I have: Class 25, Class 35, Class 37, Class 43, Class 55 and Class 56 all in BR Blue/Yellow of course 🤐 + 4 x Inter City Mk2, 4 x Intercity Mk3 carriages and 10 x assorted tankers. Currently researching how to build scenery, other than that I'm good.
