  1. 1. My IPOD Mini was to old the run the apple app 2. I never used any android app 3. I have an issue with one of my Hornby locos with a TTs chip the runs away if address 3 is selected. 4. I ran the TXS chip on the rig out of the box having removed the above loco of the track it ran ok. 5. The problem arose when I changed the address from 3 to 821 all appeared okay. 6. When I tried to read the chip CV’s back no response from the chip. 7. This is what I reported over the phone and got the weird reply about reset codes etc. 8. Let put this post to bed now Its gone back to Margate Mod note - locked as requested.
  2. I didn't know there were two types of decider

  6. I have just got off the phone to Hornby support on 01843233525; apparently I can’t access the decoder until the android app is released. He also told me they don’t know when the android app will be released so there is not a lot you can do with the decoder until then. Apparently the decoder is locked and I require a device reset passcode which will be sent when I Pair the decoder to the android app! Um I can smell bull****.
  7. I cannot read any cv from the chip using the Gaugemaster prodigy and ESU test rig its not fitted to a loco yet so dirty wheels or pickups aren't an issue. I. contact Hornby today because this is a massive issue for me.
  8. I have android so I cannot use bluetooth yet I just wanted to reset loco address from default to 821uing my programming output on the Gaugemaster prodigy. Fed up waiting for the app
  9. No response from HM-7000TXS. I plugged the decoder into a ESU test rig to check the function of the chip before fitting it to the loco. I cannot read the address with my Gaugemaster prodigy before I reset it to the loco number. I tried to reset sending value 8 to CV8 still can’t read the chip. Any ideas?
  10. When I programmed my Class 66 TTS chip testing it in an ESU rig at default address 3. My TTS Mallard creeps away and will not respond to the handset.
