  1. Thanks for assistance , tried the 16AWG wire and it works fine , now have two HM6010 modules running six signal lights and two point motors with no issues , thank you for your help paul
  2. Hi , is it possible to cut off the twin pin connector and solder the wires directly to the track as I have done with previous controllers , currently using Hornby track clips and they are terrible as when you plug in HM6000 the connection is very loose . I would prefer to solder wires directly to track
  3. I bought two HM 6000 and two HM 6010 units for a friends layout , absolutely love them , easy to install and set up , I will be buying them for my layout . The only criticism I have is that the instructions with the 6010 did not mention how to switch accessories controls from points to signal lights/ lights , luckily I had this forum to fall back on .
  4. Thanks , I’ve ordered some rolls of 16AWG wire .
  5. Hi, I am wiring Hornby surface point motors on a friends layout, trying to connect into his HM6010 but I need to extend wires, could anyone advise what size wire I need to purchase.
  6. Big thank you guys , went into device settings and changed to signal , all working fine now , thanks
  7. I have wired two two Hornby signal lights into my HM6010, on pressing the open button the light flashes green three times and shuts off , on pressing close the light flashes red three times and shuts off , why are they not staying lit?? I have wired the red , green and black into the HM6010 as per instructions.
