Thank you for replying; however, I did not make myself clear. My house is in the famous WW2 'Donegal corridor' and I have many photos from that time, of the base at Castle Archdale, and have visited the remaining structures. The core of the base is about 3 acres - at 1/72, that would be a big model. However, I do not have much idea about the building of such displays. I suppose it would have to be constructed in sections'; how do you make differing levels of ground, how do you do various forms of vegetation and hardcore areas (and water, of course!) I have looked at a couple of YouTube videos, but I was hoping for some experienced (professional?) advice.
