I have several Jouef locos and run on hornby track. There is an issue with the hornby manual uncoupler in that the locos ground on the upslope when the uncoupler is raised. I've tried sanding them down but, if the loco clears, the couplings don't disengage. Is there an uncoupler out there that will work straight out of the packet or is it just a question of very gently sanding until the correct height is achieved? Note to hornby; excellent range of SNCF locos and rolling stock but absolutely nothing available in buildings, backdrops, lineside equipment, signals etc. Missing a trick I reckon.
