  1. Hi there, My dad recently dumped all my old Scalextric on my door during a lockdown clear out. So I did what any self respecting 34old does. Set it all up to have a play. Ran into a few issues. Track was first off horrible, 15-20years in a cellar hadn't done it any favours. Cleaned it all up. Oiled the track with some WD40 in lieu of anything better and re soldered a couple of connections on cross over sections. Everything generally works ok. However I've noticed an issue with the power supplies. I've got two. An old blue round open terminal style, which is spitting out voltage but isn't getting to the track, guessing broken controllers. Second is an old, at a guess 90's, power base. This overall works ok but there is a noticeable power drop off at the furthest points. Also the triggers on the controllers at full pull cut power completely. What would you all suggest as a fix? New supply? Old test power base? Thanks
