  1. Can anyone tell me any equivalent acrylic paints for Humbrol No.70 - Brick Red and No.165 Medium Sea Grey? I'm building a Type 45 Destroyer for my wife who went onto each of them to work on software installation for the missile systems and want to airbrush it for a better finish so am trying to find acrylic paints in the right colours. Ideally I'd like to use Humbrol paints but, if they don't do equivalents, are there any by other manufacturers that match?
  2. Sorry for posting in the wrong place. In light of my new understanding, I think that a 1:48 model of a Lancaster or even one of the other larger bombers would be nice.
  3. Firstly, being new to the forum, I hope that I have put this in the right place and apologise if I haven't. I am new to the forum and have only recently returned to the hobby that I loved as a younger person after a break of around 25 years. As a younger person, I built a lot of fighters and small bombers but always dreamed of building a Lancaster. When I had the money, the local model shop would be out of stock and, rather than save my money and wait, I would buy several smaller kits to build instead. The result was that I never built the Lancaster. Buying my first new kit (a Hawker Typhoon Mk.I starter kit), I noticed an Airfix Lancaster kit on the shelf and bought it to build one I have learned new skills like airbrushing and weathering and can do the kit justice. I wondered whether other enthusiasts out there have their own ultimate dream kits that they want to build?
