  1. Recently bought a 3D printer and I've been searching for files to print scale people to dot around the track. I have found some but many will need support prints, which I'd rather avoid where possible. Does anyone have links to good sites, or indeed files they can share? Been looking mostly on thingiverse.
  2. Thanks! Yeh that bit of track is a bit tricky but the whole table is on castors, so if I was racing, a driver could stand over on the other side :) I didn't think the lane changer was too far from the pit lane?
  3. Thanks for the reply :) I've been busy painting and trying out new layouts, still much to do! /media/tinymce_upload/b7229d6bc388efec8d5656499b8a06e1.png
  4. I tried to upload a photo within a post a while ago but says it needs moderator approval... any ideas?
  5. /media/tinymce_upload/d2c1bb4a2b6aeb0a46386353b0fe341d.pngHi Hi, I'm now trying to achieve the SL7 track layout in the pic above but have some questions :) Can anyone help identify the parts circled? Thanks
  6. Hey, thanks for the detailed info. I'm gradually getting used to the slot jargon at the moment, so excuse me if I come across as a bit dim :D I might take your advice on sending the second set back, as I don't really have any extra space to dedicate to the layout. I need to do some £££ calculations and work out exactly what track parts I need to fill the 8'x4'. Edit: I see what you mean about the set fitting on to an 8'x4' with just the radius parts in the kit. The basic single set barely fits onto it with an alternative layout :O
  7. I never knew this was in Dunfermline! Just requested to join FB group as I'm only a couple of miles away :)
  8. Hi everyone, just joined-up, as I'm looking forward to receiving my Scalextric order soon. I haven't had a set for a few years and was pleasantly surprised to see the advances in technology with the digital ARC PRO sets. Anyway, I recently sold a costume (Chewbacca), so thought I'd treat myself to something else that I can pass time on. I plan on an 8' x 4' setup, using two C1388 Sunset Speedway sets. (I liked the idea of getting six cars and spare power base, track, etc, so hopefully I can build a decent layout with those. looking forward to pimping the layout with scenery etc :)
