  1. Hi all, I had a weeks holiday a few weeks ago and decided to challenge myself to build 5 starter sets in 5 days. I started on Sunday 24th and finished on the following Thursday yum Anyhoo, here they are in the order I built them. Airfix 1/72 Messerschmitt Bf-109E-3 (A55106A), flown by Oblt. Werner Pichon-Kalau Von Hofe, III./JG51, France, 1940: Airfix 1/72 Messerschmitt Bf-109E-3 (A55106A), flown by Hptm. Wilhelm Balthasar, C.O of 7./JG27, Carquebut, France, July 1940: Airfix 1/72 Mitsubishi A6M2b Zero (A68204), Lt. Saburo Shindo, Carrier Division 1, Air Superiority Command, 2nd Strike Unit, IJN Akagi, Pearl Harbor, 7th December 1941: Airfix 1/72 Hawker Hurricane Mk. I (A68216), 615 Sqn RAF, RAF Kenley, August 1940: Airfix 1/72 Supermarine Spitfire Mk. Ia (A68206), 610 Sqn RAF, RAF Biggin Hill, July 1940: Thanks for looking in, hope you like them thumbsup
  2. Thanks Dominic thumbsup Yes mate, Alclad over Tamiya gloss black.
  3. Hi all, Here are a couple of the newer Airfix offerings of the tempest. A fantastic kit, goes together without fault. Sqn Ldr H 'Poppa' Ambrose DFC, C.O 26 Sqn RAF, RAF Gatow, Germany , 1946: No 486 Squadron RNZAF, RAF Castle Camps, Cambridgeshire, England April 1944: Thanks for looking in :)
  4. I have just finished one of Airfix's Hetzers, and wow what a great kit. It went together like a dream, even the link and length tracks were a doddle to fit. The only issue I had was with the decals, the Balkenkreuz were out of register, the black portion of the cross was not central in the white part, easily fixed and a minor gripe. Anyhoo, some pictures: Airfix 1/35 Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer 'Late version' (A1353) Attached to Jagdpanzer Kompanie 1359, 359.
