  1. I have recently built up the vintage classics stug iii. g kit, the molding is not all that impressive, especialy on the upper casemate, I didn't want to go in and sand/cut so I decided to make this a finish stug (with concrete armour) thus covering the poor detail, to add some historical accuracy I added the spare track on the lower glacis plate and scribed a zimmerit pattern on the tank (my first therefore didn't go for waffle pattern as this would have been a bit 'over the top' for my first 'job']) Pictures of build to follow!

  3. I supposed it would boil down to this...at least the tiger and the Sherman firefly are coming...isn't there a new Cromwell? Or is that just the old 1/35 one in a new box? (Good I have a Tamiya T34/76 in my stash 😆)
  4. Sorry...I missed the announcement yesterday...where is it if it is anywhere?
  5. That looks great!...What brushes did you use? And what paint brand?
  6. Thankyou very much, this advise has proved very helpful...I (for my next build) would like to base my tank on Wittmans Tiger ...He being the tank ace/extremely high ranking officer (101st battalion) I would suppose he would.have had a more professional camoflauge scheme...judgin from reference photos.
  7. Thanks Paul, I am mainly a brush painter...but I use spray cans form time to time...any tips in those aspects and also how do you do 'double colour' camo? (camoflauge with 2 colours plus the original base coat)
  8. Hi PanzerMeister here, does anyone have any tips for the topic above...I am considering getting a 1/35 Hetzer and would like it to look th best it can be...so if anyone has any experience in tank camoflauge please put it in this Topic.
  9. Thanks Paul, what are you hoping for next Wednesday?
  10. Thanks Paul, I have found those answers very helpfull...by reconstruct there old catologue do you mean create new tools and kits etc....Talking about new realeases do you think there will be another academy airfix collabaration or is that over now...I have heard some hints of a new Hetzer coming out...with a new tool...is there anything in that and if so should I wait for that or get one of the current 1/35 ones?
  11. Also stiching the two parts together may help, combined with some supeglue etc.
  12. I think that new tools on 1/76 scale would be great...the new tiger looks excellent although its historical accuracy is somewhat shaky I like the addition of the Michael Wittman theme ...it may be nice to also see some 1/48 kits from airfix...I have actually built a tamiya 1/48 stug kit...very enjoyable but I suppose to much 'addable' detailay prove temperamental.
