F4F-4 Wildcat Fighting 8, USS Hornet (CV-8), Battle of Midway, June 4th 1942.Mitsubishi A6M2B-21 'Zero' (Zeke) Carrier Soryu, Battle of Midway, June 4th 1942 Yeah - I was curious who was flying the F4F-4 and where it was during the battle of Midway (was it over Midway island, over the carriers, etc.)

Does anyone have any information about the two planes from the F4F/Zero Dogfight Doubles set? I gather the Zero was from Soryu from this forum: https://japanese-aviation.forumotion.com/t17-45-midway-islands-battle-june-4-1942 But I can't find anything on F22 except what's in the booklet, which is that it was from the USS Hornet. I suspect the Zero was part of the attack on Midway Island itself - does that help?
