  1. Thanks for your reply Andy. I have written to Customer service as this year its showing my renewal date has dropped back 5 months. Last year I lost 2 months and assumed in my old age I had clicked join and not renew. This year my better half ensured their was no such error. Just for the record at the moment, thanks to your info, i can see my membership runs out in october and next may. I know customer service will sort this for me as they are great and always been super helpful in the past. As usual your information is much appreciated.
  2. Apart from invoice checking, where can I check the expiration date on my club membership and will the renewal continue from the previous date? My current membership when renewed last time didn't follow on so this time I want to make sure. Thanks in advance.
  3. Film and TV classics. I'm Inspired since receiving my police Jag XJS.. So 3 Cars featured in 3 incarnations of the Saint TV show Roger Moore- Volvo P1800 Ian Ogilvy- Jaguar XJS And Simon Dutton- Jensen Interceptor III Salon in Blue. Ok never really watched the 3rd series of 2 hour TV films but the car is worthy of the group.
  4. Usually 1 hand sometimes 2. I find using the brake button awkward but crumbly old hands don't help 😆
  5. For me, on the Arc controller I wish the brake button was under the throttle control. This would probably require a change to the battery compartment. Though even just having the brake and lane change button programmable to swap them over to a personal preference would be nice. I like the yellow flag button idea 👍
  6. I reviewed both the C4220 Chevrolet Camaro IROC - SCCA Trans-AM - Number 33 and C3758 Holden A9X Torana in the scalextric shop quite a few weeks ago but neither have been used. I have reviewed other product and they've gone up no issues. I did receive the usual request to confirm it was me who wrote them, but nothing used. The torana review would have been the 3rd so no big deal, as it seemed to be in line with the other reviews. The Iroc review would have been the first and I felt it important to let Potential buyers know about it.
  7. Thanks Andy. Will swap over too any older rev chips I may have and see how it goes and look to the app to tame them :)
  8. Any advice on reducing throttle sensitivity on VW Bugs, Camper and Panel vans? I have a few of each fitted with chips and the lightest trigger squeeze and they are flat out! All my other cars behave with a smooth acceleration but these vehicles are so hard to control. I'm using arc pro with just 1 power supply at the moment. In digital mode, it's bad, but if I race them on the digital power supply in analogue mode it's impossible to control them. I'm thinking of weighting them down more as the are a tough drive cornering but initially I would like to desensitise them on throttle response. Thanks in Advance 😀
  9. I guess if you write a review and after a few weeks it's not published it means it was turned down? Any chance we can at the least get a rejection notice? I understand that feedback would be a lot of extra work for staff but these reviews can also take time to write, and if guidelines are broken it would at least be nice to know the review was rejected and not ignored or forgotten. Thanks 😀
  10. Decided to add a pack of guide blades to my order to check and...... hurrah the new packets from Scalextric are the heavier blades! Took a picture to show what I was on about. Thanks Andy for your reply.
  11. Under powered, bad build quality and ultimately doomed financially but...a classic under appreciated car that would make a great rally classic model to add to the roster.
  12. ...and Doyles escort mk2 with it would be nice.
  13. Will the new "heavier" duty guide blades that came in the new release micro bond set (DB5 v Aston V8) be sold separately? I ask as I have micro scalextric products all new (post 2019) and I noticed a couple of things. Checking the spare guide blades in the bond set and comparing them to the spares from the Batman v joker and also the wonderwoman car they are less pointed and more flattened. I guess this must because of the new lap counter, as the blade needs to hit it pretty fast and hard to register a lap. I also found the other 3 cars have a tendency to skip and not cause the counter to move, even with the spares that came with them. For Nana and Grandpa it's not a problem but for my grandaughter and especially my nephews it led to major arguments lolol I'm hoping that these thicker blades become the norm as the kids love the superhero stuff and my wife has laid claim to the DB5 🤣
