No manufacturer seems to have produced a model of this worthy Merchant Aircraft Carrier (MAC) ship, converted from grain carriers, and named Empire MacAlpine, Empire Mackendrick, and so on. These ships, bearing 4 Swordfish each, were instrumental in defending Atlantic convoys, and make for an unusual and interesting subject!!
