  1. Its OK I just ordered and payed for it. The problem was that I was under the impression that I would be notified when a pre orderd model was available.
  2. Yes I did re order it from an advert on this site. The advert said that I would be notified when it appeared in stock, but it is already in stock and I don't want to end up ordering it twice.
  3. About a month ago I ordered the Junkers JU87B Stuka 1/24 scale. No payment was made, because it was not in stock at the time, but so far I've received no stock alert. I recently noticed that this model is now in stock. Should I make the payment for it now or wait until I get the stock altert?
  4. Why does the Airfix model of this German WWII plane have alternative RAF decals on it? https://uk.airfix.com/products/messerschmitt-me262b-1au1-a04062?xnpe_tifc=bubZxF1DbundbuHj4D_XbMpsafeWaeiWhFWNafxZxFYdV.xjnysLRkivtu4vt9UgrFn8h.PshFVpbIxp4.Eu4IVT&utm_source=bloomreach&utm_campaign=Airfix%20-%20Outlet%20-%20week23%2023/24&utm_medium=email
  5. I'd love to see just about any of the 1/72 and 1/32 figures sets make a come back.
  6. I am not sure if indeed Airfix did produce kits of the Star Trek Enterprise or indeed any other kits associated with Star Trek. If indeed they did does anyone know when they were available? As a Sci Fi /Trekie fan I'd love to see them make a come back
  7. Found it Ratch, thanks. BTW anyone know how long it takes to receive the lost part?
  8. There used to be a time when each Airfix kit had a form inside it which you could use if a part was missing from your kit. This is no longer available in Airfix kits. So what are you supposed to do if you are unfortunate to have a part missing? I started doing the 1/72 churchill Mk VII tank kit and after assembling the fist set of wheels I found that the kit only had one tread.
  9. I recently managed to buy a set on ebay for £15. They will come in handy once I get my Horby train set on permanent display:
  10. I am looking forward to assembling the MkIV one. It should be a lot easier than the Mk1. Here are the two MK1s I recently did:
  11. I recently managed to get one on ebay for a tenner - a 1967 version in the old fahioned bags with label at the top.
  12. Thanks Ratch. it must have been the Hurracane Mk IV that I previously made, because I remember the small missiles under the wings. It was much more easier to assemble.
  13. Just finished assembling the kit. Unless I am mistaken, it seemed a lot different from the one I made when I was a youngster in the mid 60s. Correct me if I am wrong, but did this kit not have armaments on the wings? The cockpit assembly and wheel assembly seem different and also more challenging. I can't remeber there being a part C1 for underneath the left wing.
  14. Painting these 1/72 figures can sometimes be a painstaking task. I recently found that playing the following YouTube while painting them to be a good inspiration and it makes the activity more enjoyable:
