Cowbell

Hi, I am a total newbie and have no knowledge on trains or tracks. My teenage son has been given the Hornby coke cola train as a present and wants to run it round the Christmas tree. When I have unboxed it the turning circle is hugh and would take up most of the floor. Can I buy a smaller curve track and if so what is the smallest turning circle we can have for this train? Any advice would be greatly appreciated and you would help make one not so little boy very happy. Thank you
