Hi I'm shortly going to be undertaking my first model (a 1:48 scale Spitfire Mk.1a). After doing some research I've found that the particular aircraft I'm making would've had a few months service (March-August 1940). My question is how much weathering would this plane roughly have at this point and what sort? Secondly can anyone give me advice/tips/techniques on doing said weathering please? I'm not expecting perection but I would like my first model to be as good and detailed as possible! Look forward to hearing from someone and hope you all had a good Christmas.
