    I have just purchased the prince of Wales txs and steam generator fitted I am wondering can I use normal tap water for the steam generator or do I need to use dist water thanks

    I was trying to do it using the setting on my power cab maintrack and not the prog track this was the only loco that I have had to use prog track op on but I think I will always change them using this opt from now on I guess it was operater error 😂learnt the hard way but def learnt

    Just an update whilst the forum was having its update I managed to sort out the loco and changed the CV loco number many thanks to all to all helped

    Can't get my head around the new format at the mo like how the old format I could go the the spec folder for a certain topic haven't been able to work out how to that so ie Hornby dcc or general questions

    It rec it on as 3 but won't allow me to change it the loco moves vac forwards sound all work but just won't change the number that I tell it to be I'm using it on the prog track mode as well it's almost as it the decoder is lock to 3

    Thanks for your replys I am doing what it says to do acording to the comic lol 😂 but it just stays at 03 ie what the decoder it factory set at this is the only loco that doesn't want to have the address changed

    Hi hope some one can help I am trying to change the loco number on my Hornby tts sound Decoder in a tornado that is set at 03 I have a nce power cab I have even reset the decoder using the code cv8 hope someone can advise thanks in advance

    Heads up any body that hasn't seen it or loves the film the titfield thunderbolt it's on TV bbc2 on sun 10th at 2.45pm I will definitely be watching iv never seen it.

    You could try and get offers from shops depending were you are based in Sheffield there is a shop called rails of Sheffield or there is a shop in east Sussex called classic rail both have websites and both will be very helpful with advice and helping you to what to do and sorry for your loss

    Thanks for the replys I am using a nce power cab but new to dcc it is a Hornby railroad dcc ready evening star so am I right in thinking I can just turn the dcc 8pin round and replug it in

    Hi i have just fitted a Hornby tts sound Decoder into my Hornby 8pin dcc ready evening star but when I go forward the engine goes back wards and if I tell my control to go backwards it goes forwards I have put the decoder in corcertly Ie pin one to pin one acording to the bord I hope the decoder is OK any ideas thanks

    I also met him last year and I could not believe how down to earth he was and he definitely didn't have the big I am unlike some stars do he genuinely was was so nice to meet.
