Second time around

Can anyone tell me, at the rear of the motor underneath the fly wheel there is a wire, terminating in a plug of some sort, connecting to nothing. PS. I took your advice and fitted a sugar cube speaker.

Just received a Hornby R3171 'Cock o the North' and want to fit a TTS decoder, but there is no space in the loco for the decoder or speaker, and no socket in the tender, is there anything I can do?

I'm using the select in my train shed, and railmaster in the house with my laptop, using just a programming track , not using them together.

Im using select controller, placing the train on the track the sound starts straight away, stationary all the sounds work, but as soon as i turn the controller to start the loco moving, it moves half an inch and stops. Sound continues. I have reset CV 8 to 8. Using my railmaster . If i take the sound chip out and replace the blank 8 pin It works fine on my dc track. I have cleaned the track, i have cleaned the loco wheels.

I have a tts sound decoder in a railroad tornado R3060, was working fine but now sound ok but when i turn the control the train moves and then stops

Just took picture of home farm, home farm barn and the offending cattle shed, now I find it hard to believe the cattle shed is OO scale.

Can any one help with this message i get when starting up the software

My thoughts exactly. The same scale metcalfe cow shed is enormous in comparison But as you say, the door height looks ok .

Ok, judging by the door size alone, i have to take it that it is skaledale, but measurements by the manufacture, or marking on the model it self would have been helpful, Thanks to alll who responded.

All i can say , its half the size of home farm itself. I just need measurements. No box, no markings. Is it skaledale of lyddle end

I was told its skaledale, but without the box how can i tell.there are no markings on the model.

How can i tell if an item bought off ebay, unboxed , is 'oo' scale or 'n' scale. Only recently purchased a skaledale home farm cattle shed. But in comparison to metcalfe cattle shed its so small. I can not find any measurements.
