  1. I recently saw on YouTube hornby magazine new signal box video and while i was watching it i saw an class 37 pull a few dogfish hopper wagons and it has given me an idea of having a few hopper trains during the early 1960s. However I do not know what hopper types and formations were used please help me with this query. (Also if you have images could you please use them and please write down where you can get the wagons and thank you).
  2. I am really interested in the china clay mines of the west of england but i do not know any locomotives that were used their. These can count as owned by the china clay company or by another railway please reply to solve my querie.
  3. I'm really curious if any LNER locomotives operated on the western region during late british railway era. As I believe when the big four nationalized their locmotives wer sent to multipke regions of british railways. Please help answer my queriy.
  4. I'm having problems with my layout and I was wondering if there were any 3-4 coach train formations. For the coach formations, I would like them to be realistic late British Railway era 6 coach formations. The coach formations can be express, suburban, branchline and etc. Important note please say their coach codes for example TSO = Tourist Second Open and if you have images please still have coach codes. Thank you and please help me with this query.
  5. I'm a huge fan of the western region of British Railways and I know some of the diesels that operated in the region. Like the Class 22 Baby Warships, Class 42/43 Warships, Class 52 Westerns, Class 35 Hymeks and Class 47s. But I'm wondering if there are any other diesel locomotive classes that operate in the western region. Note (please include when they were made). Thank you and please help me with my query.
  6. I'm a huge fan of the western region of brtish railways and i know of some of the dieseils classes used in the region. Like the baby warships, warships (class 42) westerns, hymeks and class 47. But i wonder if they were any other dieseil locomotives taht served in the region. note (please include when they were made). Thank you.
  7. So everyone is saying boh versions are the same coach but obe with white windows other witjout white windows. So which one was made first I'm talking about when i real life example 1950.
  8. BR Mark 1 resturant buffet coach with white tilted windows BR Mark 1 restaurant buffet coach without white tiled windows So for your average passenger train with restaurant services would the train have one of these variants or both variants coupled to the train or next to each other.
  9. The flying banana versionw a spainted innblood and custard and got its own full marron parcel livery but not in the whiskers livery.
  10. Do you have any pictures of what a train with the coaches would look like. for the photo thier is only one resturant buffet car with an kitchen but the one without a kitchen is not connected so how did oeople dine in the coaches if the one with white windows was only the kitchen and counter but had no dine in.
  11. Just checked hornby's new Rb coach. So i saw two Rb coaches one with white tilted windows and the other with black windows so I'm a bit confused with which one has the kitchen. (can't send photos becuase of issues I'm having).
  12. I've recently seen online a good priced new Hornby BR mark rb coach and I'm thinking of buying it But there are two versions (which will be described below because I'm having problems adding the photos unless anyone can add photos ) I'm a bit confused with the two versions which one is the non refurbished version and with other coaches do you need to have it with other restaurant buffet coaches or can it randomly be with other mark 1 coaches. Finally do both versions have kitchens or is it only one version. Version one BR mark 1 maroon restaurant buffet coach which looks like a regular br amrk 1 coach but says restaurant buffet on the side. Version 2 BR mark 1 maroon which has white tilted windows and some regular windows. Please help me with my queries.
  13. Actually 96RAF i think hornby or lima did it in that livery but not streamlined.
  14. Despite them not being in the chocolate and cream livery do people think it suits British railway layouts in its livery.
  15. LC&DR did talk about the warships/class42 which were used by british railways but they only came around august and D8002 formidable was completed on the 15th or 14th of December. But in research i have done warships were used in local stopping passenger trains so that could mean branchline work but during late 1950s br was upgrading their branchline so that could mean that a br warship was used on a modified branchline in the late 1950s.
