Thanks for the initial responses and the welcome. I will check the videos. In terms of your questions atom, steam I think, not too fussed about following a particular line. Already have a mix from old engines that i have. I am planning a residential layout, with a bit of industry thrown in. Have been building Metcalfe for a few months. A kinda mindfulness activity. Good evening everyone. I have been googling model railways for a while now and I fear I am going to be completely bamboozled and may not get started. I am looking for inspiration, I would like to built an 8 by 4 layout, hopefully two level and I am hoping that someone might be able to share a plan with me for it.
