  1. forum_image_60515b7f1e6e4.png.8bd4eb0991b1341d88b7a581abca817f.pngMTH Trains INC a well known Manufacture in the United states founded in 1980 will cease to exist in May! The owner of the company is to Retire so the company and factory will Close, so why doesn't he sell his Tooling to other Manufactures as that happen when Model Power went out of business as their tooling is now owned by Lionel. It seems strange just to shut it down like this but many Manufactures have died like this its sad as they did some very good models! Maybe as Hornby has a USA division it could buy some of MTH Tooling so some of the models could be made by Hornby!

  2. Triang and Hornby have made two F Class Australian Shunters the first was Triang in Victorian Blue in the sixties, Hornby made the New South Wales Maroon in 1977 they are now very rare! Roco did one but was tiny and couldnt be used with the ones which were done by Triang and Hornby so maybe a new continental version so lets bring this Shunter back!

  3. Are your Trackmaster wagons straight enough to use? I had some that were very badly distorted, and the wheels didn’t like my track at all.

Yes they can be distorted but i have them easily couple onto Hornby Dublo and Continental stock with European Couplings they are great to join these together!

  4. Trackmaster which was owned by Pyramid Toys Ltd was a short lived manufacturer, taken over by Lines Brothers in the late fifties! The couplings used on their wagons are strange, as you can use a Trackmaster wagon to link up a train of Hornby Dublo wagons and Continental stock with European couplings. So has anybody else used this useful fifties rolling stock?

Moderator message. Colin, your post above was originally posted in ALL capitals and bold and italics all thrown in together. I have just spent 5 minutes retyping it into an acceptable form for this forum as an example of what is required. Moderators and also normal members have consistently and historically requested that you refrain from writing your posts in ALL BOLD CAPITALS. In forum speak it is considered extreme shouting and actually makes the content of your posts more difficult to read.

Tonight you posted 3 sequential image posts [example of one below] that were all rejected for the reason explained above. If you want your posts and images to continue to appear on this forum, then please comply with the forum wishes and write your post text as per the rewritten example version of your post above. Using predominantly 'Lower Case' text which is not ALL bold or ALL capitals OR even worse ALL Bold & All Capitals. This also extends to your thread titles which has also been changed in this thread from ALL CAPITALS.
