  1. @Stephen in Kerry That looks awesome. How big is the layout and did you use a specific track plan or was it just something that came to you? Moderator Note: Nic, please do not use the Blue Square with the White arrow to respond, as all it does it copies all the previous post, which in your case was a picture, which then needed approval again. I have removed the copied picture. If you would like to respond to a particular member, you can do it as shown above. Also, It is in your own interest to have a unique user name. Could you please select ‘My Account’ towards the top right hand corner of your screen, then Community and choose a nickname in the ‘My Profile' tab, rather than your First name that has been automatically allocated by the system. We had hoped a Forum change was coming to prevent this automatic allocation but a manual change is required at the moment and there will be more than one member with your name. This request together with some other information for new posters is contained in a thread at the top of the General Discussion section called ‘Information for new members registering for the Forum’
  2. Thanks Chrissaf. Very helpful indeed. 👍🏻 Mod note: - Nic your previous post using the blue button with the arrow has been deleted as it merely repeated Chris’ long post and added nothing further. Please avoid using that button.
  3. Hi all, I'm building my first train set since my grandad built me one back when I was a wee kid. Other than the baseboard and the Hornby Eurostar set I'm working from second hand to keep the cost down. I have planned a track layout but my knowledge of electrics are pretty non existent so any expert help here will be most welcome. I have attached a picture of what I'm looking to achieve but need to know where I need power clips, how many controllers I need and any other tips in terms of electrics to make this run. The hand drawn part will be sidings to shed.
