  1. Thanks. Access to loft is not an issue as it is fully converted with stair access
  2. Looking for recommendations for a modelling table. Relatively lightweight, foldable if pissible. Sick of bringing stuff all the way down from the loft to the dining table so decided to put a table in loft for loco maintenance, painting, model building etc. Budget up to £100. Was considering a fold up camping table bit concerned over stability and strength.
  3. Just ordered a Bachmann Class 37 from TMC in their Black Friday Deal. 146 quid delivered.
  4. Intend to see myself. Was going to use them for my little one to cut out from for his scrapbook but will have a good look through them first.
  5. Just picked up issues 1 to 119 for a tenner. Lots still in original packaging (issue 3 or 4 still has the free re-railer on the front). Is there much of a market for the old mags? Picked them up from a guy who had bought an auction job lot of dinky toys and the mags were in the lot- he had no interest in them so just wanted rid.
  6. We have the latest track mat configuration. Extension packs up to and including F. Thinking of extending it by adding some double straights. We are going to work on scenery and the little one loves his cars so wants some roads on there. Might be best to actually not fill with track and leave space for scenery.
  7. Evening all. Novice at this. Been building a layout with my little lad - track mat layout with all extension packs. The baseboard we have is 8ft x 4ft so with the full track set up as we have there is a 2ft x 4ft section that is empty. Has anyone extended the track set onto an 8ft x 4ft board that could share ideas of what they have done. Our initial idea was to add extra straight sections to extend the loops but think we could do something better.
  8. Evening all, just set up my track set (iTraveller with all extension packs) and got it linked up to a Gaugemaster D controller. Have used the Gaugemaster rather than the HM6000 as the set is for my son to use and the simplicity of the Gaugemaster will be easier for him now. All is running as it should thankfully. My question is I am looking to set up a system to control the points without manually having to switch them. Have been looking at the Peco Smartswitch system. Can that be used with the hornby points?
