So my son (soon to be 7) was given the Ginetta Pack a year or so ago. C1412M Scalextric Ginetta Racers Set He is keen to upgrade to be able to use the ipad and add cross over track etc, but I was unsure which pack is the best to look at. I have found: C8434P ARC AIR Upgrade kit - Powerbase and speed controllers - European plug C8434 ARC AIR Powerbase & Wireless Controllers Upgrade kit C8433 ARC ONE Powerbase Upgrade Kit And wasn't sure about the differences between each one. We've had this set just about a year, have a few cars and don't use it all the often but my son loves it. However, tried it today and one of the original cars sounds really high pitched. It's the motor gone? What can I/should I do? Thanks

Hello, So my son got his Scalextric last Christmas and since then we've moved house. This year he got a few more cars so we set up and played. He wanted to go back to the cars he got first and then found one of them sounded really high pitched. I wasn't sure if the motor has gone wrong? Any advice greatly received. We have used it a few times but it's not been permanently up before.
