  1. I will declare right away I'm not an Apple user anymore but... Believe that when you export the function map, it is only stored as data within the app itself, and therefore not exportable as a seperate file to another device (so can't be "seen" your 2nd device). Pretty sure I've seen YT tutorials of people using Apple's own backup system to do it via their Apple account. Try Google search. Backingup the complete app is the way it worked for me on Samsung/Android (via Smart Switch) and may work for you.
  2. Well, I've now tried and it works! :) Smart Switch can transfer just the app (engine shed data included) either by WiFi, suitable cable or memory stick. I chose the latter. Think for WiFi both devices need to be on same Samsung account (mine are anyway). App now fully working on phone and tab (not tested both at same time as that is not the intention) and I now have a backup too of all the engine shed data. Happy days.
  3. Hi, looking to backup my engine shed list to another device (Samsung tab to Samsung phone). Samsung has some app called Smart Switch which can, apparently transfer data for an individual app. Has anybody tried this and did it work? Thanks
  4. Thank you. Could be the issue, now spotted where it said Elite. Found appropriate setting in Manage Device. Now changed to Select. Will give it a go tomorrow. Update! Couldn't wait. Just had a go all working fine. Thanks again.

  6. Hi, my setup is HM DCC app on Samsung galaxy tab (Android) and 7040 legacy dongle connected to a Select. So far added 5 "locos" with various decoders. Method add loco and, if sound fitted, add default function map and edit functions as required. The problem is with 2 locos Hornby (original vent van and Coronation Class City of Birmingham TTS). Any function button above 12 does not work, although function works if input on Select. Am I missing something or is there a bug?
