Can you tell me when any Great Western Railway engines will be available?
  2. As I review the catalogue of all the phases to be released, I wondered if they all will be open stock or limited addition. The reason for the question is that some modellers may not be able to purchase locomotives, coaches, freight wagons, structures, etc. all at the same time and may therefore miss out on some items they wanted.
  3. I am just beginning a new shelf layout 12' long x 16" with a fiddle yard at each end. I want to model either era 3 or 4. I was originally going to build it in OO scale layout, until TT came along. I think TT scale is the answer. I want to have a small village or town with shunting opportunities, i.e. goods shed, cattle dock, oil depot, pub, etc. The newly released locomotives are great. The problem I have is that it would look very unrealistic to have the Mallard or Flying Scotsman doing shunting. They could do a run through but that would be all. I will need 0-6-0s, 4-4-0s or 2-6-0s for a branch line. Also being over 29, I do not want to wait two or three years to operate my layout. Please do not take this as a criticism. I understand why the locomotives on offer are there and that Hornby needs to make sure that the introduction goes well to make TT a profitable product. Other manufacturers may decide to produce British outline in TT, but will wait to see if the Hornby introduction is successful.
  4. Thank you DS. I realized I had a seniors moment when I typed that. JWB
  5. Help a very frustrated Canadian. I would appreciate someones assistance in contacting Hornby for me to obtain some information from Hornby regarding setting up my account for the TT membership. Telephone calls from here are very expensive and it goes to voicemail. E-mails to Hornby support seem to go into a black hole. I attempted to Contact Hornby USA three different times and the same black hole. I have tried several times to register and then make a purchase. The response I get is either the system doesn't recognize my address. This is because we live in a new housing residence as of July 2022. The other problem is that the system is also telling me I have to pay 25 pounds (30 less VAT of 5), which is supposed to be free and then it tells me that Hornby cannot ship the membership to my address. Interesting since they don't ship memberships. Help!
  6. I would like to know what future steam locomotives are planned for release, especially goods engines?
