  2. Hi Ratch looking for my next model to build . I have just finished the Fairey Swordfish 1/72 - looking for something different ... what do you think of this so far? (i make No apologies :) ) if you are pleased with the way this is going ....i might just follow you on your build , Or have you built the airfix tiger 1 ( early) for example. what do you think Best Regards Adrian
  3. Hi everyone one from a very sunny Dartmouth UK today . i have seen on one of the video's for a Fairey Swordfish model build a template being used to do a mottled camouflage effect on the wings ....unfortunatley the guy couldnt remember were he got it from ...any ideas please . Regards Adrian

Thank you for reading this ..just picked up modelling again after a break for 50 years ….I’m now finding after 3 months my desk looks like a ww2 battle field with paints , tools , glue etc no matter how hard I keep organising on the desk…any one got suggestions for storage to start me off please ….   6. Ratch just in case my reply didnt come through /// you are both correct - i totally missed the colour ref on the quilted sectionsYes i was asking for colours on the real thing as well - found them now -as Forest Gump says i hate to be a pain in the Buttox
  7. Ok guys thank you very much for this … I think I’ll paint ,prime the small parts on the sprue and have a go at doing me a bit of a process chart …….I knew that 5 years in production planning would come in for some use eventually 🤭
  8. Evening All Anyone like to give some pros and cons for spray primer on parts on the sprue or removed . I would appreciate any tips /comments some of the " Old Hands " have on this issue . Thank you to anyone not only reading this but also responding

Hi Guys /Girls A returning AIRFIX modeler from the mid 60s not putting to fine a point on it i now find that my eyesight isnt what it was even with glasses and if i could get Pdf of the current Westland and expand the instructions on my laptop it would be a great help ...any ideas suggestions would be appreciated.
