I've switched all rolling stick to magnets.  Using West hill wagon works Hunt magnets. They're great, easy to fit and are functioning well on 27R curves even on the extra close lengths of 5mm.

I've done the same. No problems so far.

    Manure doesn’t age well 🤣

Meanwhile back to vehicles in TT:120, hope Oxford die cast are spurred on to expand the range sooner rather than later and start matching vehicle eras to the rail models available. There is a distinct lack of lorries that needs the Oxford Diecast touch. These are great models and I think good value, it’s no wonder they sell well 😁

I agree there is a lack of lorries. I need some for my industrial area to flourish.

  3. I sent mine back to Hornby. I'd tried bending the steps out as advised on an earlier post but it failed to work for me. I was worried about snapping them off. I got it back late today. Not tested yet. Will let you know result tomorrow if my Wi Fi works.

  4. Advice required please. All was well now I keep having turnout clips overheat and are melting plastic. Attached is diagram of my layout. All points have clips at present (do they all need them?). Arrow indicates 15 volt power supply. there is no missing rail I've used some flexi track.forum_image_65034a6897b33.thumb.png.c342a6d0720d4909204baf1e7eac0e14.png

  5. I did consider N gauge but was swayed by TT:120 being slightly larger as arthritis in the fingers makes small difficult. I bought the Easterner set. I pre ordered the 08. I fitted the decoder to my A4 and bought the 15v power supply on the strength of the 6 pin decoder being here this year.

Now seriously considering whether to abandon TT and Go with N gauge.
