Arthur's Hill. Not based on anywhere in particular. Small village that has a station because of the industrial area that has spread from the main town. Still very much work in progress.
I sent mine back to Hornby. I'd tried bending the steps out as advised on an earlier post but it failed to work for me. I was worried about snapping them off. I got it back late today. Not tested yet. Will let you know result tomorrow if my Wi Fi works.
Advice required please. All was well now I keep having turnout clips overheat and are melting plastic. Attached is diagram of my layout. All points have clips at present (do they all need them?). Arrow indicates 15 volt power supply. there is no missing rail I've used some flexi track.
I did consider N gauge but was swayed by TT:120 being slightly larger as arthritis in the fingers makes small difficult. I bought the Easterner set. I pre ordered the 08. I fitted the decoder to my A4 and bought the 15v power supply on the strength of the 6 pin decoder being here this year. Now seriously considering whether to abandon TT and Go with N gauge.
I have used Smartmodels. Chimney pots for Wordsworth card models, Firemen (awaiting my daughter to paint for me), Fencing to go on top of my tunnel mouth. It was mentioned somewhere that it is not true TT1:120 but I think it looks OK.
