Excellent discussion. I have to dissagree with Simon though. The Scotsman, The Mallard, sure I have seen them in a museum. I would class myself as a newbie/returner (returning from say age 15). What I remember most are the BR standard classe tanks from being taken to heritage railways as a kid. Those are the ones I wanted to get and with them recreate those day trips. I guess it's generational, and based on an individuals background Vs hard business data.

I remember being told to put it at the front of the siding so each wagon of the train could be unloaded inside. Best thing about models, you can pick them up and move them about! 😁

I have sent mine off to get suitably grubby and worn whilst waiting 😜

Were confirmed, but as they said they might not stick to that... 37415 was EWS livery D6704 was a lovely green with split head code and has previously been made by Accurascale in 00 (feels like a blocker to other manufacturers when I put it like that in the context of other recent posts)
