I wonder if this should be removed now? None of my tender locos came with a speaker pre-fitted. Am I missing out?

if you have the DC one can it run with just one HM7000 sound chip or will it need two?

But what in which direction? if the hose hangs down, it'll interfere with the couplings around corners. Do they point up? There are no pictures online of a fitted example

Does anyone who owns these have a picture of how the little accessory pipe attaches? There's no instructions in any of the boxes!

What do you guys do with your Hornby boxes when you store things in these cases? I'm loathed to throw away boxes in case I ever want to sell something but don't want to store twice as much stuff!

I sent it back and got it returned the other day. The note said something in the tender had been repaired/adjusted but I know it's a brand new loco because I had fitted the accessories kit and the loco I got back didn't have any of them on the tender or the engine!

I thought it might be power supply related so now have it running on a P9300 power supply. That fixed Trigo but not the A4. Will send it back and report back

Just converted my WW A4 to HM7000 with the Next 18 chip and am now struggling with performance on curves. It was always a bit rubbish on the curves anyway but was fine at any kind of speed. The acceleration rate is so slow (even when on max) on HM7000 that it's still not at sufficient speed on the curves to keep going so basically keeps grinding to a halt/slipping. It's nigh on useless at slow speeds on a curve with carriages. I know it seems to be the one of the most problematic of the TT locos from all the forum posts but is this just what I have to live with or are there any fixes? Or back to Hornby? Have had it since Feb but only did the HM7000 conversion the other day as was waiting for Android release.

I similarly had this issue! Just ordered a P9300 on amazon tp hopefully solve it. The hornby website is actually wrong on the info for the HM7020 adaptor https://uk.hornby.com/products/hm7020-psu-solution-harness-r7324 It says it's for use with P9100W which is the transformer that comes in the TT120 train sets But it doesn't fit that. Is P9100 different to P9100W? Does a P9100 and P9300 have a different male socket?
