Hi ye all turns freely. If I hold motor in cradle and turn worm gear by hand gears wheels turn through 360 degrees although it takes a while. Like 96Raf says there is plenty N20 motors on line. Just trying to track down one with the Q374H stamp on it.

No decoder fitted just blanking plate and feeding it with 9v battery

I have checked worm gear is solid on the spindle When I hold the motor between fingers I can feel the rotor running but spindle and gear do not move. I will contact Hornby and see if they can supply a new motor. Thanks all for your help.

Hi. It turns out to be the motor. The motor is running but the spindle with the worm gear on it not moving. Any idea where I can get a new motor. Nothing available on Hornby spares pages.

Hi Rallymatt I have a decoder blanking plate which I took out the night hawk when I updated it with a decoder. Would that do.

Hi Have removed body(had to wait on Conrad spanner). Checked worm wheel on motor and gearing to wheels. All seem to move smoothly. Is there a way to check if motor runs under power. also checked decoder was install correctly

TT120 Silver King. Has anyone any suggestions on how to check if motor has gone. Sound working fine but engine won’t move. Have unlink deleted and re linked but nothing.

I am probably not explaining it right the suggestion was to see all four boxes and controls on one screen which I tried to illustrate with the picture I put up. Anyway it was just an idea.

Suggestion Multiple HM6010 on one Page I now have four HM6010 boxes and feel it would be easier to control my accessories if they where all on one page rather than individually pages. Perhaps not suitable for iPhone but there is room on an iPad.

If I go over points in siding's to slow and the engine stop’s moving it forward slightly brings the sound back on, I cannot get the engine to move although the Bluetooth connection is showing blue without unlinking and relinking. Any suggestions on a fix for this.

Rallymatt thanks for reply ye yellow heat sink is inside rail. You are probably right about the wiring code I am a bit impatient and tend to use what I have rather than ordering the right wire. I have a volt meter will read up how to check continuity. 96RAF Thanks for reply and link. Thought the clips where what you used but after reading forum I realised using them on 15 points was not right. Good fun though learning all this. 😀
