I’m looking for recommendations for something that will run on a radius 1 track. My layout consists of a radius 2 linked to radius 1. Any thoughts would be appreciated

Thanks again for all the advice. just to clarify, I didn’t buy a track pack. I used the layout and bought the track separately. The power track is the DCC version. I will definitely have a look at the “getting started” threads. thanks again

Thank you for your helpful replies. I have removed the piece of track (green on the layout) and the controller no longer flashes red and has OL displayed. So it is no longer shorting. However, starting from the left hand siding, the train travels really well until just passed the second set of points before getting onto the main loop. It that stops and won’t go forward or back. Any more advice ?

Hi there, I am new to model railways and DCC. I have just built my first track as below, bought the Hornby Select and the Flying Scotsman with DCC fitted. I have the Select connected to the track using a Hornby power track on the left hand siding. When I power up the Select unit I get a red flashing light and OL displayed and the train doesn’t run. I guess I am doing something wrong or missing something. Can anybody offer any simple advice to a beginner please?
