  1. Thanks for the replies so far. I assumed, seemingly correctly, that trying to remove one layer of paint would simply take off the other as well. Weathering or just ignoring seem to be the way forward then. Apologies for the lack of detail in my original post by the way, yes it is a second hand model. Think originally released back in 2011. On opening it up the condition of the internal packaging suggests its never been opened, which is what the seller had stated, so I've no reason to doubt their honesty.
  2. Hello everyone, after some advice please. Bought a model online and upon arrival find it has a paint blemish on the tender. Looks exactly the same silver as that used for the lettering. I could return it, but just wondering if there's a way to clean this up without damaging the rest of the paint work? Weathering would hide it but didn't particularly want this model weathered so that's my last resort. Photos make the blemish look a bit glue-like at first, though it isn't. Many thanks 😊
