  1. Thank you for that. I will give it a go. I was worried about warranty issues should items have to be returned to Hornby.
  2. I am having the same problem with the Hunt couplings just sliding out of the slots on both the power and dummy cars. Does anyone have a fix for this problem?
  3. Something similar happened to me. I found that I had inadvertently created two Hornby accounts, one being with a very similar but incorrect email address. Once the account with the invalid email address had been deleted, I was able to use the app. Perhaps it is worth checking that you only have one Hornby account.
  4. Your information and advice is greatly appreciated. I will proceed with the Hornby PSU.
  5. I am new to model railways having purchased the basic Scotsman set. I am now looking to expand by developing a larger track layout and increasing rolling stock. I am keen to eventually go down the HM 7000 route. I have tried to research on the various Hornby forums. My question is regarding power to track. I understand HM 7000 requires a constant 15 V power supply and that the R7337, HM7020 would be appropriate when available. In an answer to “Simple Question to 15 V Bus” power can range up to 26v and 20v would be safe. Is this correct? If so would it be safe to use a cheaper option like a DC 19v 4amp supply from a used laptop transformer to power TT-120 track when operating under HM7000?
