  1. Is there anything in the planning to allow the editing of the channel names for the HM6010 i.e. rather than just Point/Signal/Light you can actually make it more user friendly and add the location name/building name etc.
  2. Does anyone know if you can rename any of the channel functions on the App currently channel 4 is listed as (Turntable) but will control a Tillig decoupler.
  3. It is the one with 8 wires and I purchased 4 of them with the points not realising the complexity of them. Only whilst researching, with no real answers, that I should have perhaps just bought SEEP motors.
  4. I have gone along the route of using Tillig points and track as they fit to the layout I've planned. But having problems figuring out how to wire and control the Tillig point motors. Has anyone else used Tillig point motors and how are you controlling them? Also has anyone got them working with the HM6010?
  5. Just emailed Peco and got a very fast response: "Thank you for your email. We can confirm that several of the new TT wagons were released to stockists at the end of last week, and should reach shops this week." So hopefully we will see them very soon, did ask for a price but didn't get an answer for that.
  6. What surprises me is that some off the other manufacturers haven’t picked up the delays, particularly Heljan that had planned the Class 31. for late 2023 release. Even Peco seem to have been delayed in releasing to wagons that were announced. I want to model the 1980 - Modern day scene and only have the Mallard to represent the preserved locomotive and the 08, which with no decoder released is no use in any case. All that seems to be happening is delays and price increases.
  7. So looking at the range now all 3 liveries are available non sound fitted and all but the intercity Executive is available with sound fitted. Would like to know the reason behind this now, problems with the website yet again, which seems to be a common trend, or is it because of the price increase?
  8. It would be good to have an honest and official response, for all these sudden changes, delays and price increases. To cancel the sound fitted set is it because: There are issues with double headed loco’s and chips (wouldn’t fit with the fact one version is still available) and if it is a problem, I would want to know now as many of my plans involves double headed trains. They want everyone to pay the price increase (are all pre-orders going to suffer the same)At least be honest with their consumers.
  9. Just sent another email asking if this is going to be the trend now cancelling late era locomotives. As this is what I’m modelling and are all on pre-order. If they are I will give up on TT120 now. Also why they can’t honour the price and offer an alternative livery. The BR blue version as it is still showing available but at an increased price. Also is the 10% on top of the 15% club discount or is a pointless gesture. Like I’ve said before if someone wants TT120 to fail they are certainly making the right calls.
  10. With the latest email cancelling my pre-order for the HST yes I think Hornby are pushing the limit.
  11. I’ve just sent an email asking the why it has been cancelled, as I did not request it to be cancelled and still want it. Will wait to see what the response is and I’m pretty sure, although, I haven’t tried the 10% compensation won’t be on top off the 15% I already get. This might be the game changer where I just forget Hornby and hope other manufacturers realise there’s a market and start producing TT120 and I’ll go with them altogether.
  12. Looking at the modern scene: Mk1 carriages in British Rail blue and grey. Class 156 DMU Class 20 More modern freight
  13. Seems strange that the BR, InterCity Executive Class 43 HST Train Pack - Era 8 (Sound Fitted) is still at £279.99 whilst both the other versions have increased to £329.99. Now placed on pre-order, although would have preferred the GWR version. It's a shame that they are increasing the prices when most of the range hasn't even been released. From being an affordable hobby it's becoming more and more expensive and frustrating considering the release dates being pushed back. It was the Phase 3/4 diesels that I was after and the way things are going not going to see them for sometime. The original concept of TT120 and HM7000 got me back into the hobby but the delays (I have an 08 that I can't even test as I'm waiting for the decoder to be released) and the price increases are making me consider whether its worth it anymore. I suppose if someone in Hornby doesn't want TT120 to succeed they are making the right decisions.
  14. No so much of a complaint more of a niggle, what attracted me to TT120 was it being released in conjunction with HM7000. I decided to commit to the hobby because of this, I have bought only what is required for HM7000 i.e. power pack etc. I am modelling 1980's onwards and the only train that I can use is the Mallard, bought to run as the preserved version. The 08, getting delivered today, is going to be static until a chip is released. I had pre-ordered it along with the chip when it back in January when there was no mention of different release dates.
  15. I am one of those that have got back into the hobby and have only the HM7000 system, my 08 due delivery is going to sit idle for a while. Slightly disappointed with the different release dates considering it was all advertised as the way forward with TT120.
  16. More of this importantly what else is arriving! Unfortunately my 08 will remain boxed until the Bluetooth chip is released. Perhaps investing into HM7000 only is going to have some big drawbacks!
  17. It could be considered that the Harry Potter locomotive is not fictional. I would personally like to see a model in TT as I'm intending on modelling Rannock / West Highland line. GWR 4900 Class 5972
  18. Just had the following response from Hornby: "The TT120 08 Shunters are due to start being shipped at the end of June but this is just an approximate date at the moment. With regards to the Decoders, this is due to start shipping October/November time." As I'm only using HM7000 the possible 4 month difference in the 08 shunter and a suitable decoder isn't a very good sign.
  19. I had presumed that the 6 pin decoder would be released alongside the 08. I have gone for a full HM7000 controlled layout, I don't own any other controllers. I'm modelling a modernish layout also with diesels and the Mallard as a preserved locomotive, just so I had something to run before the diesels were released. Might be worth cancelling the two 08's I had on order as I have nothing to control them.
  20. I'm planning on modelling the BR 80's scene and just had a look at my pre-orders and it seem strange the HST is Autumn 23 but the mark III carriages Summer 24 and then the Class 50 Winter 24/25 and the mark II carriages Winter 23/24. All the freight being Summer 23 and Winter 23/24, going to be some funny trains running around the track.
  21. The designation 401xx refers to Trailer Standard Restaurant Micro Buffet (TSRMB). It appears a number of 42xxx TS's were converted to TSRMB's, but only 19 of these conversions done and these were numbered 40101 - 40119. https://coaches-library.weebly.com/tsrmb.html
  22. I have pre-ordered the HST (sound fitted) and a complete rake of coaches as well as a couple of Class 50's, all have gone through with the Club Member discount. The Class 50's are due release until Winter 24/25. If they didn't honour the price given I would be very surprised.
  23. Both state autumn as the release date and presuming that HM7000 will be up and running by then, there shouldn't be the time frame difference between the two being released. (I hope) And the extra pennies can go towards a Class 50.
