  1. It’s happend since doing the profile downloads etc it’s the first thing I did it’s a Hornby Britannia model
  2. It’s a new decoder and it’s all sound and movement it works on dcc but not by Bluetooth from the app its the second loco I’ve fitted one to
  3. Just set up my second blue tooth decoder and it worked perfectly so tryed on dcc with railmaster after setting the address now when I switched back to Bluetooth control it doesn’t work it reads cvs ok via Bluetooth but won’t run even tryed changing cv12 it still works in dcc is this a bug or is it because I’ve written a dcc address to it ? Any ideas or am I going to have to unlink it and re link on the Bluetooth app
  4. Hi this subject has probably come up before but is there a reason why hornby don’t have PayPal as a payment option
  5. ok I’m still new to cv’s so can you tell me what I need to do as I can’t change cv12 in railmaster as it’s not reading anything I’ve tried writing a new address to it also so is it something in the app I need to do ? And what value does cv12 need to be ? I’ve only done things like speed and braking as far as cv’s are concerned but that’s on other decoders just basic ones
  6. Hi just recently got a new hm7000 Bluetooth sound decoder which I’ve setup on the app but thought I’d try it by normal dcc so changed over in the app and put it on my programing track with railmaster to read the cv’s but it doesn’t work just getting unable to read messages I know the tracks clean etc I was under the impression these decoders are normal decoders with the Bluetooth control added on so I would have thought you could read the cv’s as any other decoder ? Anyone got any ideas ?
  7. Had an email back from dcc concepts they have relays rated at 15-20 ma so I’ve got several coming
  8. Hi all and happy new year got my first blue tooth sound decoder and think they are great but then found a down side was going to fit a Suethe smoke generator in my tornado with this decoder but the aux on the decoder only supply’s 100ma and the smoke generator is rated at 120 ma so there is a possibility it could overload the decoder so I need a small relay to overcome the problem but have been looking on the internet but haven’t been able find one has anyone had this problem and can they send me a link as to what and where I can get them I was planning on fitting the blue tooth decoders to my collection of locos I have a flying Scotsman that has a zimo sound decoder and it’s aux connection can cope with the Suethe smoke generators like woke wise gauge master ones I have can but they are not sound decoders these are the ones I was going to replace
  9. Thanks that’s the answer I was After looks like il have to keep swooping them over until I buy a new elite by the way I guess the select will be useless as a walkabout as it will only control 2 digit I’d numbers and I’m reprogramming all my locos to 4 digit from there running numbers for easier identification
  10. Hi all and happy new year uve Got an elite I’ve been using as a controller for ages but it won’t read or write for programming which hasn’t been an issue as I’ve used my select for programming I’ve now got an elink and rail master the question I have is can I use the elite as a controller aswell as railmaster as control a and have the elink as control b and use the elink for programming locos etc or will railmaster only allow control a to do programming to make it clear the elite I want to use the control knobs as well as rail master and a mouse to drive trains and use the elink as my programing interface otherwise I’m going to have to keep disconnecting them both and swop around every time I programe a loco etc yes I could still use the select but it’s limited to length or address numbers and there’s more information on railmaster
  11. Yeah I allready understand that I’d have the elink connected to the track connected to a pc and the elite to the pc only what I was getting at was railmaster and elite controlling trains at the same time obviously the elite would run via usb and send signals through rail master and elink to the track
  12. Hi I’ve been trying to find an exact answer to several questions ive had elink and railmaster sat in its box for some time and just this week got railmaster working with elink and played around with a couple of locos ive Got a layout with four lines that I can run four trains on continuous plus a goods/ fiddle yard with turntable for shunting etc I looking for a straight answer to a question can I control trains on the main lines with rail master through elink as main power supply and also use elite as a second controller in railmaster to operate other locos ie doing some shunting I’ve seen people mention using elite to control trains and using elink to operate points etc but just want to know if you can use both at the same time to control trains at the same time also can the smart phone app be used at the same time aswell ?
  13. Question if you have a loco with a four diget address will the select control it iven though it can’t write a four diget address itself
  14. ive fitted stay alives to all my 060 locos all the rest with tenders I’ve fitted pickups in the tenders if they didn’t have them as made that includes my old triang ones
