The 50 looks very nice indeed, I just wish there was an early BR blue version. I’m sorely tempted to buy one for backdating and repainting.
-
I’ve had an email that my Easterner digital set pre- order is ready for shipping. Looking forward to it.
-
I think there were some other models that showed as 2024 then changed to 2023, so it might be a date error on the website.
As Moccasin mentioned, the latest train terminal update shows finished and decorated samples of these wagons so it would be very hard to believe that they are delayed until next year.
I suspect they are coming before the end of this year.

RailTech have a very wide range of TT:120 scale transfers listed on the site. If there is something you want, do the custom order rather than an enquiry email, he doesn’t answer but does turn orders around pretty quick. I used them for the 08 shunter, very pleased with them.
TTAs look fabulous and they had a life spanning from late 50s to 2000s so a very flexible model. Might have to move on my fleet of weathered, de-numbered and better running 12t Mobil wagons 😁
That's great to hear, I will definitely look into that! I'm also wondering if there is anyone who will do renumberings/resprays for when I order any future locos/or stock?
Anyway, thanks very much! :)
I’d highly recommend Dan Spaulding at Made Scale Models for any painting and renumbering work. You should be able to find his website via a web search.

I’m not sure it’s a legal requirement? My reading of the advert is it lists exclusive models as a potential benefit rather than a definite one?
Either way, I guess all they need to do is offer some club exclusive bundle of any TT:120 items before the end of the year and it would satisfy your requirements?
-
Maybe those will come in the future. I guess there is so much demand at the moment that they don’t need to make any exclusive models?
-
Railtec are doing TT scale decals now, and they will consider running TT versions of their existing range if you ask them.
I bought some of their sets for my 16t mineral wagons.
-
They do look nice. I’m thinking about picking some up for my transition era layout.
-
I’ve been working on a 16t Mineral Wagon in TT:120 scale. This is a body which will fit onto the Hornby 7-Plank (or vent van) chassis.
It prints really nicely on a resin printer.
If you want to try it the 3D printing STL file for the first version is available free here: https://skfb.ly/oJtXP

I guess you aren’t using Hornby chassis under these? I’m wondering how they could be cheaper if you need a donor locomotive to power them?
-
Nice work. What’s the main advantage of this approach over the standard Hornby model? Is the Corgi shell more detailed?

I can’t get any link to anything other than a static pic and small amount of text. TBH I have never know where all this Train Terminal stuff etc is, I only ever find TT talk by accident!
It’s in the members area. Click on ‘community’ then select Hornby TT:120 Club, then select ‘members area’ sign in, then ‘Train Terminal’ click ‘view all’.
The list of Train Terminal updates is there. You want the one from July 10th.

Model looks great. I’m hoping for a small logo rail blue version at some point. The large logo is too modern for my planned layout.
-
Looks great :)

The photos in the new train terminal post look like really good news. Based on the Class 08 timescales, from engineering sample images to release was about six months or so? Meaning it would seem reasonable to expect those models before the end of the year?
-
As others have said, the original free membership (including a 15% discount plus free points) was a good deal.
The current £30 with no discount doesn’t seem worth it to me. It’s a real shame as the discount definitely encouraged me to spend more, I don’t know if the discount continues for early adopters if we pay for a second year.
-
That’s good to hear. I’m guessing it’s just some update glitch on the website. Even if it wasnt I’d hope that you could get things sorted using your order confirmation e-mails as proof. After all, it’s not in Hornby interest to damage relations with the core customers for TT.

I have a 3020M class 66 and some tankers on preorder from a few months ago. My orders seem fine so far.
Several people have reported issues now, hope there’s not a problem with the website.
-
I was sure I’d seen a 2024/2025 date listed too. Glad someone else saw it. Maybe it was a typo that’s since been fixed. :)
-
Love the welding light. Would be great addition to an electric unit too.
-
My order seems fine. Which version did you order? Mine is a non-sound standard version TT3012M so maybe there is a difference between non-sound and DCC orders?
-
You’re correct. It’s 2024 not 2025 (poor reading abilities on my side).

I’m hoping we get a bit more info on expected release dates for the later phases. I’m really looking forward to the Class 37 / Class 31 and the J94.
Those are currently phase 3/4 which I had thought meant they’d be available in the 3rd or 4th year of production. However some of the Phase 2 locos are now listed as 2025 releases so I’m wondering if phase 3/4 might actually be a lot further away.
Anyone able to shed some light on the dates?
-
I’ve got one on order. It’s showing up in my list of ordered stock and all look normal. I’m in the UK.
Are you ordering from a different country? Is your credit card valid until after the expected release date? Did you definitely check the ‘accept conditions’ tick box on the order page?
Seems strange that it wouldn’t work for you otherwise?
Easterner set pre-order

Yes mine was 39/440. If some people have missed out then that means preorders accounted for the entire shipment? That’s impressive sales numbers considering it’s on top of the first shipments for the non-sound sets.
