  1. Has anyone got the service sheet for either the Tiger or Lion. If not does anyone know what motor these use and if you can obtain part numbers for the small circuit board used in the trains?
  2. Hornby Tiger with new decoder. No sounds when loading profile onto 18 pin decoder, error message comes up. Tried reloading….same error…do I just keep trying to download the profile until it takes? Tips or solution welcome.
  3. Thank you to you both. Should have said it is a Hornby 18 pin sound decoder and it is a tight fit in the tiger.
  4. Apologies if this is the wrong forum for this question. Fitted the sound decoder into the new Tiger and am having issues with it now shorting the DCC track. Track is wired up with droppers on all sections, no dead spots, correctly isolated and all other trains run perfectly. Using NCE PowerCab as DCC controller. Train power ups for a sec then dies, red light on controller plate goes off, remove train light comes back on. What is most logical place to start ? Thank you
  5. Can anyone help me with the best way to wire this layout for HM7000 DCC using Bluetooth. I have the correct adapter and digital track piece to plug the power into and this successfully powers the outer ring. How do I power the inner ring and all that entails. the power goes in on the outer R600 piece bottom left of the points. thank you
  6. Update… cleaned the track within an inch of its life with cotton buds and 99.9% alcohol, running so much better. Invested in some power banks to help keep things going.
  7. Update… very nice man at Hornby helped me out and issued me with a generic code, reset the train and re-installed. All up and running 😀
  8. It’s the Bluetooth connection which is the issue not Wi-Fi. You do not need Wi-Fi to run the train only for the updates and initial setup.
  9. I did think of using a power bank but there is just no room to put one.
  10. I have 3 trains with decoders, 2 of which are loaded correctly with updates. As previously said they run for a minute or so then lose Bluetooth connection. Track ran fine under analog power before switching to digital.
  11. Can you tell me where on the box it is please, looked and can’t see it anywhere.
  12. I keep losing Bluetooth every few seconds and get the whirring circle of doom. I have cleaned the track, any ideas what is causing this? I am desperate to love HM7000 but it’s starting to get frustrating.
  13. Where on the box, looked and can’t see it??
  14. When installing a new decoder on the app it came up with device reset (didn’t,t even let me add the new decoder) and said the normal enter the reset code which is then emailed but this time no email has appeared? How long do they normally take and is there anything else I can do?
