  1. Thanks guy. I did read the manual. Unfornately I am one of those that tinker even when they don't fully understand (sometime leads to blue smoke). I have 2 vapouriser that are powered from 'rail'. I am trying to use Aux 3 and 4 just to turn them on or off(not power). I just can't to see how I can use a relay/mossfet/transistor to turn them off if I can't reach 0 volts/amps from the signal. Appreciate your help in advance.
  2. Pin 16 is blue. The signal I am recieving is a constant 7v volts that is not turned on and off when operating F23/F24. Was expecting a switchable 3.3v from AUX 3 and 4. I have wired up Aux1 no problem with 3 leds. Appreciate your feedback.
  3. Using signal from Aux 3,4(pin 4,13) to turn on vapourisers. Just want to confirm which pin is the positive common?
  4. I would like a synchronized output signal with chuff sound. So it could act as a switch for a smoke or vapouriser unit.
  5. Thanks for the reply. In my case the rails are non conductive. I have no experience of decoders but I see pin breakout adaptors are available. Pin 21/22 are pickup voltage from the rail so a battery could be connected directly. As you say the 3 cell LIPO would not have the voltage but a 4 cell with a voltage range 12.8V-16.8V should be fine.
  6. I have made my own smoke/drain cocks with vapouriser. The amount of water used is small. 40ml will last approx 30mins. Heres an early prototype of mine:- I have run them dry for over an hour without ill effects but you can hear its empty.
  7. Would it be possibly to use the H7000 with just a battery connected? I am thinking either a LIP 11.7v cell or 14.8v 4 cell via the stay alive connection. I am also intrested if it could power my DIY smoke/drain cock(2x water vapouriser) that require 5V volts.
