  1. Hi, Im looking at a Dapol 4D-011-006 (GWR railcar) It is DCC ready and so is just like most modern model locos, however, it also has features such as; directinal lighting, interior lighting and sound, would these features work on an analogue track or would it just be a regular unit going back and forth. Thank you.
  2. Hi, 96RAF. My intention is to run a class 71, or other small loco on the line. The turn tables are just to rotate it when it gets to each side, I know I could just reverse it, but the tables are to add a bit of interest (and perhaps complication). My main question is how to set it up so that the train will work on the secondary rail (rail above the one attached to the turn tables) as I know sometimes power does not flow to this part on a track like this. Thank you for your response though.
  3. Hi, I have had the desire to assemble myself a line for a good while now and have recently had the idea for a space and layout that I would like. The idea is this: A strait track with turntables either end and points (also at either end) that connect to a parallel track (Sorry for the crude drawing yet it describes well my intentions) I know this is not so easy as a loop to assemble yet havent got a clue what I would need to do to get it so a train would run on both tracks (any cable soldering ETC), my intention is to use Hornby RO70 turn tables and have read how to set them up, this would all be done with a single analogue controll (like R7229)
