The sale was across the entire Hornby Hobbies company Ratch, further down in the email it advertised a number of Airfix kits and had a direct link to the Airfix website sale section. I was also on the Airfix website only the other day and the special sale section was still there. They also advertised the sale and points offer at the top of the Airfix home page with a picture and link that would bring you to the sale section.

Hi Guys, I am new to the forum here and I have a question to ask before I email customer service and complain. Does anyone know why the New Year Sale is not on the website anymore? I have an email stating that the sale and double points offer is on until midnight tonight, the 23rd, but it's nowhere to be seen on the website. This is the email I received. I'm super annoyed about it, I get paid on Tuesdays so I had to wait until this evening to make an order. I am only new to this hobby and I was looking forward during the last week to sitting down this evening and picking out several sets on offer and getting the double points as well. I'm guessing that's not going to be happening now. On top of that delivery times seem to be very poor from Airfix. Is anyone else having issues? I ordered the new catalogue on the 11th and it was not delivered until the 22nd, 11 days for delivery is ridiculous when it states on the website UK delivery is 5 working days. I have a second order placed with Airfix for some hobby tools and brushes etc, I placed that order on the 16th and it was only just dispatched on the 22nd, 6 days for an order to be dispatched when it should be delivered and all in 5 days. Not a very good introduction to Airfix or this hobby I must admit. Apologies that my first post on this forum was a rant.
