satiropan Posted November 14, 2015 Share Posted November 14, 2015 hello,a freind gave me a scalextric kit as present.It comes without the original box, so I guess is a sport track, with the c8210 crossover an the c8217. it has only one transformer, c991, wich is the italian version of c990.I don't understant how to connect it, I mean, do I need 2 transformers to run both the cars (2 aston martin dbs) or one is enough, provided I move the switch in the '1 trasformer' position?thanx Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Posted November 15, 2015 Share Posted November 15, 2015 HI There,Yes as you say you can use one transformer and put the switch to 1 transformer.It is highly recommended though that you use two seperate ones to avoid power surges when one car leaves the track.It also allow you to use a plug in dimmer on each one to adjust the power to the ability of the driver :-)Finally, yes, you have the Sport style track.
