MG Writer Posted February 6, 2016 Share Posted February 6, 2016 Thinking about the classic Airfix MG1100 kit (1:32) I remembered that one of the smaller British one man outfits made a short run of resin bodies of some of the other BMC "ADO16" family, such as the Austin/Morris 1300GT. I also recall that Vitesse once offered variants if their 1:43 diecast model of the "1100" as various MG, Wolseley and Riley variants. It made me wonder if someone could create a new kit, say 1:24 scale, with different panel and trim for the Austin, Morris, MG, Riley, Vanden Plas and Wolseley variants? genesis1210 Posted February 14, 2016 Share Posted February 14, 2016 My brother owned one , was a sea of rust and filler , ok it kept going because the engine was sort of reliable but the brakes were rubbish , seats were uncomfortable and in the end it was scrapped because the cills failed beyond repair .
