I have seen one of these at the Great Central Railway in Leicester and I thought it was a beautiful colour and would too love to see a hornby model of one.

D5579 was the loco painted in Golden Ocre in BR ownership. D5578 was Blue. All other locos were standard Green.

The loco currently carrying the Golden Ocre only became this colour after preservation. I haven't seen it but, from photos,

it looks rather smart

I have an original Tri-ang D5578 in blue, it does look well. I never saw the original, but I did catch the ochre one D5579 in the background when I was photographing Britannias on the turntable at Liverpool Street. It looked quite smart.
