WilliamDavid
It's a shame that this and the Wigan show are so close together.
2e0dtoeric
Well - I went - got rained on going and coming back.Had a chat with Doug, who lives diagonally across from me - his planned (N?) railway is still in the plannng stage, as his wife wants some decorating done first. I don't think he uses this forum.£5 to get in - 2 x HO layouts, 2 x 009, 7 x OO, 3 x N, 1 x micro O,17 small 'trade' stalls.Mostly very small end-to-end's. Typical 'show' layouts, with most activity being in the fiddle-yard. Nothing spectacular there.Lots of people milling about and getting in each other's way, often with bored wives/kids in tow. The busiest layout was the kiddies 'drive-it-yourself' roundy-roundy, two ovals, two controllers, two trains.
VESPA
It sounds enthralling!! I stopped going when it moved out of the Parr Hall and that was ages ago. I have also avoided the Rainhill show for the past 3 years as I don't like the venue.
