Darthtrainspotter Posted December 17, 2018 Share Posted December 17, 2018 HelpIhave a select controller and have just bought a hornby class 86 DCC hard wired with a decoder with the address 8661. I never gave it a thought that the select will only go up to 99 is it possible to re address the loco or shall I just pull the decoder and solder in a new one.many thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I would have thought you can !! ....( you may need to reset the decoder CVs using an Elite .)..... if you can't do it do yourself do you have a local model man who can ? I tried to re address her but the electrical contacts must have been bad as it wasn’t accepting it’s new address. Cleaned her up and managed to re address no worries now cleaning out someones else’s carpet from her running gear. thanks for help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
